Right Click CPS Test

Measure right-click speed in CPS with the secondary mouse button. Start with the 10-second default, then review Right Click CPS, Peak 1s CPS, timing metrics, history, and personal bests.

Press Start Test, then right-click in the test area. The first accepted secondary click starts and counts; only this area suppresses the context menu. Free to use with no account; results stay in this browser.

What is a Right Click CPS Test?

A Right Click CPS Test measures how many accepted secondary/right-button mouse clicks are recorded during a configured duration and reports the result as clicks per second. Right Click CPS equals accepted secondary-button clicks divided by the configured seconds, making this a right click speed test rather than a general button check.

Formal input requires a mouse pointer event with button=2 inside the dedicated test area. Primary/left clicks, middle clicks, clicks outside the area, touch, pen, keyboard, and Space do not count.

A trackpad can participate only when its secondary interaction is reported through the browser as the eligible secondary mouse input expected by this page; behavior can vary by device and OS settings. This is not a double-click test, mouse-button diagnostic, debounce tester, missed-click detector, or complete latency test.

How to take the Right Click CPS Test

  1. Choose a preset or Custom duration.
  2. Press Start Test.
  3. Right-click inside the test area with the secondary mouse button.
  4. The first accepted right-click starts the timer and counts.
  5. Continue until the configured duration ends.
  6. Review Right Click CPS, timing metrics, History, and Personal Best.

Left clicks, middle clicks, touch, pen, keyboard, Space, and clicks outside the area do not count. Window blur, a hidden page, or pagehide interrupts the test without saving a result.

New users should start with 10 seconds.

Choose a duration

1 second
A very short sample whose result is more sensitive to one-click differences.
5 seconds
A short Right Click CPS test.
10 seconds
The default duration and recommended first test.
30 seconds
A longer sustained right-click test.
60 seconds
The longest preset and a sustained secondary-click test.
Custom
Enter a whole-number duration from 1 to 300 seconds.

The configured duration is the formal CPS denominator. No duration is presented as an industry standard, and this page has no Best of 5 or separate duration routes.

How to read your Right Click CPS result

Right Click CPS = accepted secondary-button clicks ÷ configured seconds. The denominator is the configured duration, not the elapsed interval from the first accepted click to the last.

42 accepted right-clicks in 10 seconds = 4.20 Right Click CPS.

There is no multiplier, rank, grade, or bonus. Peak 1s CPS is the highest one-second accepted right-click rate and is not the overall Right Click CPS.

Intervals
Average Interval is the mean interval between adjacent accepted right-clicks. Fastest Interval is the shortest adjacent interval.
Consistency
Describes the regularity of accepted click intervals and shows a dash (—) when unavailable. It does not represent accuracy, skill, health, or hardware quality.
First-half and Second-half CPS
These values describe the accepted right-click rates in the first and second halves of this test.
Fatigue Change
Compares the second-half rate with the first-half rate. A positive or negative value describes only this test's speed change, not medical fatigue, ability, or endurance.

The existing per-second chart shows accepted right-click counts for each second. It does not add rankings or another scoring layer.

For repeat comparisons, use the same duration and the same input device/settings. A 1-second mouse-button test and a 60-second trackpad secondary-click test are different conditions and should not be treated as interchangeable scores. Compare Right Click CPS with the general CPS Test only as separate secondary-button and primary-button tasks; a difference between them does not diagnose hardware.

Browser context menu behavior

Inside the test area

The browser context menu is disabled only inside the test area. Only an eligible secondary-button pointerdown inside the test area can enter the formal counting logic; a contextmenu event by itself also does not count.

Outside the test area

The normal context menu remains available on the title, instructions, Header, Footer, navigation, and other content. Right-clicking there does not count.

Limits, comfort, and privacy

Measured
Accepted secondary clicks, configured-duration CPS, Peak 1s, intervals, consistency, half rates, Fatigue Change, and per-second counts.
Cannot diagnose
A broken right button, missed clicks, double-click faults, debounce, switch condition, hardware defects, full latency, OS settings, game skill, cheating, macros, or hand, muscle, nerve, and medical conditions.
Local data
History and PB stay in this browser. Saved data excludes raw pointer events, timestamps, coordinates, full chart data, per-click analytics, and identity. Share uses only a compact result.

Formal input requires pointer type mouse, button=2, and an event inside the test area. Use a comfortable rhythm and stop if clicking causes pain or noticeable discomfort. ClickMetrik does not guarantee that rapid repetitive right-clicking is safe and does not provide medical diagnosis or treatment.
