How the 60-second challenge works

  • Select Start Challenge, then make the first primary mouse click inside the test area to start and count.
  • The duration is always exactly 60 seconds, and an official result appears only after the full uninterrupted minute.
  • Touch, pen, keyboard input, other mouse buttons, and clicks outside the test area do not count toward an official result.
  • Blur, a hidden tab, or page navigation interrupts the continuous challenge. Start again to earn an official result.

Metrics and endurance

Clicks per minute is total accepted clicks divided by one minute. Because this challenge is exactly one minute long, total clicks and CPM have the same numeric value. Average CPS is CPM divided by 60.

Peak 1s uses a sliding one-second window. Six fixed 10-second segments reveal pacing, while First 30s, Last 30s, and Fatigue Change compare the two halves. These measurements describe this browser session only and are not medical or competitive diagnoses.

Local saves and privacy

Up to 20 compact attempts and one CPM personal best are stored only in this browser. ClickMetrik does not save raw click timestamps, pointer events, full per-second charts, user identities, or per-click analytics.

Clicks per minute vs a short CPS test

A short CPS test emphasizes burst speed. This fixed one-minute challenge also shows pacing and change across a sustained click session.
