What is a Jitter Click Test?
This browser tool measures how quickly and regularly primary mouse presses arrive inside one dedicated area. It is a speed and rhythm measurement, not a detector or certification of a physiological jitter-clicking technique.
What this browser test can measure
ClickMetrik can count trusted primary-mouse presses received inside the official region, calculate CPS over a fixed duration, and summarize accepted timing intervals, halves, fatigue change, and per-second counts.
What it cannot verify
A browser cannot determine the physical motion used to create an input. This test cannot verify technique, detect cheating or automation, diagnose a mouse, measure hardware latency, identify double-click or missed-click faults, or predict performance in a specific game.
How Jitter CPS is calculated
Average CPS is the number of accepted primary-mouse clicks divided by the configured 5, 10, 15, or 30 seconds. The configured duration, rather than callback delay, remains the official denominator.
Understanding Interval Variation
Interval Variation is the population standard deviation of accepted adjacent click intervals divided by their mean, expressed as a percentage. Lower values mean the recorded intervals were more alike; higher values mean they varied more. The value does not prove which technique was used.
Consistency vs Interval Variation
Consistency maps interval stability to a bounded score, while Interval Variation reports relative timing variability directly. They are separate descriptions of the same accepted timing stream and are not skill, health, or quality rankings.
Best of 5
Best of 5 contains five complete rounds at the same selected duration. Every round starts manually. An interruption discards the series, and only one compact series summary is saved after all five rounds finish.
Physical mouse requirements
Official results require trusted primary-button input from a physical mouse. Touch, pen, keyboard, Space, other mouse buttons, and presses outside the dedicated test area do not produce a formal score.

Do not continue high-intensity clicking through pain. Stop if your hand or wrist feels uncomfortable. ClickMetrik does not provide medical diagnosis or treatment advice and does not claim that any clicking technique is safe.
Privacy
Compact results and personal bests stay in this browser. The saved summaries exclude raw pointer events, coordinates, timestamps, interval arrays, per-second buckets, and identity data.
